Vasundhara Raje sworn in as Chief Minister of Rajasthan

BJP leader Vasundhara Raje was on 13 December 2013 sworn in as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for the second time.
Vasundhara Raje was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Margaret Alva during a grand swearing-in ceremony inside the Assembly building premises in Jaipur.
In 2013 Rajasthan Assembly elections Baratiya Jananta Party has won 162 out of 199 seats. Vasundhara Raje is elected from Jhalrapatan (Jhalawar) constituency.
About Vasundhara Raje
• Vasundhara Raje was born on 8 March 1953 in Mumbai, Maharastra, She is daughter of Vijayaraje Scindia and Jivajirao Scindia, Maharaja of Gwalior, members of the prominent Scindia royal Maratha family.
• She graduated with Economics and Political Science degrees (Hons.) from Sophia College, affiliated to Mumbai University, Mumbai.
• She has been elected to the Rajasthan state assembly thrice and five times to Lok Sabha.
• She is the first woman chief minister of Rajasthan state in 2003. In her first term as chief minister she served from 8 December 2003 to 13 December 2008.
• She is the 22nd Chief Minister of Rajasthan state.
